House was purchased by George & Juanita Lake in 1938. Its was getaway house for them as they lived in Long Beach. Their son and my father, Randall Lake, lived here from 1959-1965 and met his wife (my mom), Suzan Jacobs, across the street here on Garnet Ave.  Juanita lived here until her passing in September of 2000. Juanita's mother Ida Wallace, also live in this home before she passed away. This house has been a sanctuary and refuge to my family, extended family, cousins, & friends for generations. We hope it will be for you and many more!
